Dr. Yung-Chieh Chen, an attending physician in the Department of Neuroradiology at Taipei Medical University Hospital, collaborated with Dr. Peter Chang, the co-director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic Medicine (CAIDM) at the University of California, Irvine, to develop DeepRad.AI software for dementia diagnosis. Their software made it to the top four in the global competition held by the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) and earned them the opportunity to pitch to investors.
